Coronavirus PCR diagnostics at Carpegen

As a specialist for sensitive and specific real-time PCR assays, Carpegen is technologically predestined for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of the respiratory disease COVID-19.
We have therefore established Coronavirus PCR diagnostics in our laboratory within a very short time, offering it now in cooperation with laboratory practices and laboratories of clinics, as well as in the context of screenings of particularly vulnerable population groups. We are registered with the crisis management group of the Münster district government, which can engage Carpegen on short notice when in need.
Please note that we do not offer SARS-CoV-2 PCR diagnostics for individual patients.

Our laboratory is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We have taken extensive measures to protect our employees. All employees adhere to the distance rule of at least 2 meters or work, whenever possible, spatially separated from each other or in the home office. Hygiene regulations are implemented precisely.
Coronavirus diagnostics are carried out with the greatest care and under appropriate safety conditions in a laboratory of biosafety level 2 (BSL2).
