Research and distribution collaborations are crucial elements of Carpegen’s business strategy:

Research collaborations with universities aim at translating joint scientific results swiftly into diagnostic procedures and products and at validating testing systems in clinical studies.

Presently, we work together with Systec GmbH specializing in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and the Center of Dentistry of the University Hospital of Bonn in a new research project related to the development of point of care tests for the dental office.

Within a further cooperation with the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Transplant Hepatology, University Hospital of Muenster, we develop a DNA chip for diagnosing Wilson's Disease, a hereditary metabolical disorder of copper transport.
